FIRST VISIT: not far away from the University

We will show you that all the area near your University can be an interesting place to begin to know the city.

Starting from the University, in five minutes you will get to the famous Blasco Ibáñez Avenue.
It is one of the main streets in Valencia, whose name cames from one of the most known valencian writers: Vicente Blasco Ibañez.

Walking up & down the whole avenue, will take you some hours due to the distance between Jardines del Real (Viveros) and the area of Cabanyal (more or less 3 kms). “ Jardines del Real”, also known as “Viveros” is a wonderful place that can´t be missed.
Dated in the 11th century, it is a quiet place full of ornamental gardens with statues, ponds and ancient trees.
If you visit the city on July, you will enjoy night concerts that take place on this garden during half part of the month.

You can also move across the avenue riding your bike because you will find bicycle lanes along both pavements on the whole road.
